Professional Community Development Management
People in the community development sector are expected to embrace global responsibility and excel in a growing number of areas, from working with vulnerable groups to running projects that better communities and people. ABMA Education learners have always been highly sought-after employees in this challenging sector and have been responsible for huge change across many worldwide economies.
As a result of recent changes and advances we have taken this opportunity to review, update and improve our offering in community development to ensuring that our learners continue to be recognised as market leaders in the sector.
We are therefore delighted to announce that we have updated our current qualifications and have included additional management elements that will allow learners to manage better in the community environment, no matter which segment of community development they work in. They will gain work-based skills to allow them to hit the ground running, as well as becoming well rounded, responsible, empowered individuals that can be effective. To reflect this update of content, this suite of qualifications will now be Professional Community Development Management.
The qualifications are available to study from January 2023, with the first available examination series being June 2023. Learners currently studying Professional Community Development, should complete their current level then transfer to the Professional Community Development Management qualification should they wish to continue to the next level.
