This qualification is for learners who are considering a career in project management who wish to be taught the foundations of working in this arena.
Learners are introduced to the principles of projects, the types of projects that exist and the frameworks used to support them.
Learners are then introduced to the process of projects, the planning stages, including the budgeting and resource requirements, before moving on to monitoring and evaluating projects during, and after their completion. Learners will also consider the various software and technologies which can be used to support different types of projects.
All projects have challenges and this qualification equips learners with a broad understanding of the different challenges which might potentially impact a project.
