ABMA Education are delighted to have been collaborating with Nations Incorporated in Guyana to deliver courses for the WIIN Programme. WIIN (Women’s Innovations and Investment Network) set up by the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security with the aim to enforce gender equality and women empowerment. To do this, the Ministry have been providing free training courses for girls and women, to allow them to learn new skills, build confidence and help them on their road to employment, financial stability and independence.

Courses where offered in 7 different disciplines, with ABMA Education working alongside Nations Inc. to review all course material to ensure it is fit for purpose, to provide quality assurance for all assessments and certificated the courses. To date we have issued over 1250 certificates.

Feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many saying they would like to continue their studies in the subject area and would recommend their course to others.

These courses are giving girls and women of Guyana the support needed to upskill, increase confidence and employability, and to ultimately help them to secure a future where they are able to be financially independent.
