Applying to University
Many of our learners go on to study at university and we have lots of established progression routes to take. Examples can be found on our Progression Routes page.
To apply for a place at your chosen university you will be required to provide a Personal Statement.
Applying to university can be exciting and daunting at the same time. Ensure that you research thoroughly the university that you wish to apply to, make sure it suits your needs and offers the most appropriate course and content to meet your needs and expectations.
ABMA Education has progression routes available to our learners, and to gain entry you must apply directly to your chosen university.
The UCAS Personal Statement is one of the most important parts of your university application. This is your chance to shine and prove to the university that they should pick you over many applicants.
You need to show that you are a well-rounded individual who is enthusiastic to succeed in your chosen discipline.
Before you sit down to write your personal statement, the first thing to do is write a plan. This should include all the main points you want to include in your personal statement.
We have provided our own worksheet below, for you to download, print out locally and plan your personal statement but please remember, this is only a guideline and does not have to be strictly followed.

N.B. This personal statement guide is aimed at those applying to university through UCAS only.
