ABMA Education in Malawi

Representatives from ABMA Education have been in Malawi to meet with our recognised centres to listen to their thoughts, experiences and feedback.

Forum Events

Business Development Manager Angela Lambert, Compliance Officer Dr Shehrazade (Shez) Emmambokus-Teuten along with Country Manager Rodney Chikafutwa, held Forum events in Blantyre and Lilongwe. These events were attended by over 35 centres and provided an opportunity for centres to be updated on our work, to ask questions, voice any concerns and discuss as a group best practices. We have had some great feedback and an extremely valuable opportunity to be able to discuss post Covid issues.

Centre Visits

The team also visited as many centres as our schedule would allow, to speak one on one and learn how our recognised centres supported learners during the height of the pandemic and their plans to move forward. We want to extend our thanks to all who took the time out of their busy schedules to meet with us and share their thoughts and insights. It was great to see so many full halls and classrooms of learners.

School Visits

They also visited our friends at Chamtembe Primary School with whom we have a longstanding friendship. We were delighted that George the Bear, which we sent as a part of a learning incentive, is still being taken home and well looked after by well-deserved students. They also made new friends at Dzenza Primary School it was wonderful to see the great work they both continue to do and how the children are always so happy to be in school.

We wanted to listen to our centres and to find out how things have moved forward since the pandemic and how teaching and learning has changed so we can ensure that we are providing the best possible support to our centres and to those that are at the heart of what we do, our learners.
