The funeral for the late Queen Elizabeth II is being held on Monday 19th September 2022, and as a sign of respect our offices will be closed as we celebrate the life and outstanding contribution made to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth by the late Queen.
We were all deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September 2022. Queen Elizabeth II was born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor on 26 April 1926, married Lt Philip Mountbatten (Duke of Edinburgh) on 10 July 1947 and became Queen in February 1952, whilst she and her husband where visiting Kenya.
Her coronation was held on 2 June 1953 and celebrated her Platinum Jubilee (70 years on the throne) earlier this year, making her the oldest and longest reigning monarch in British history. During her reign, the Queen visited many Commonwealth countries around the world, over 120 countries including twenty visits to Africa, becoming the most travelled British monarch in history.
