ABMA Education is a CPD Accredited Provider

by | Nov 9, 2018 | News

ABMA Education is now a CPD accredited provider and its Life Skills course has been officially certified by the body.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. It enables learning to become conscious and proactive, rather than passive and reactive.

Accredited CPD training means the learning activity has reached the required Continuing Professional Development standards and benchmarks. The learning value has been scrutinised to ensure integrity and quality. The CPD Certification Service provides recognised independent CPD accreditation compatible with global CPD requirements.

Life Skills students will soon have the option to receive official CPD certificates backed up by an accreditation that is recognised by employers and organisations alike, in addition to the Life Skills Certificate.

This is what CPD say about the course:

The ABMA Life Skills programme has been designed to support learners in the development of competences and knowledge which can be used in a variety of contexts. The course has a practical; rather than a theoretical; basis which can be offered independently or alongside other curricula. Through engagement with this programme; learners will be exposed to concepts and techniques which will enable them to become more productive in their working environment or to provide some of the knowledge; skills and competences which will help them gain employment.
