FAQs

  • ABMA Education (ABMA) is an awarding organisation based in the UK and recognised by Ofqual, the UK government’s qualification regulator. ABMA is also officially recognised or approved in regions in which we operate internationally and will continue to work closely with local accreditation bodies to ensure requirements and needs of ABMA learners, no matter where they study, are well looked after.

  • The duration of an ABMA qualification will vary depending on the teaching structure. ABMA qualifications are devised to be flexible giving both part time and full time students studying ABMA qualification a time-frame that suits their needs. ABMA qualifications have an assigned number of Guided Learning Hours (GLH) which can be used to ascertain the total number of contact hours that should be applied to the qualification. This does not include personal study of course.

  • ABMA Education does not provide any sample answers. As the examination is a chance for the student to demonstrate their own learning and how to put that learning into practice, it would be prohibitive to provide guidance in this manner. Sample papers and other resources are available in the Resources section of this website, including some suggestions for how to tackle answers, command words and essay structure in an examination.

  • Marking, moderating and processing your scripts will take 10-12 weeks providing they have been submitted to the ABMA on time.

  • ABMA qualifications are taught in a classroom environment at approved ABMA Recognised Centres and are not available via distance learning.

  • If your centre no longer offers ABMA qualifications, or you would like to check the status of your centre with us, please complete the form to the right being sure to highlight the qualification you are undertaking. We will then discuss your options with you and help you to continue your studies at a recognised centre with as minimal impact to your studies as possible.
